For over 25 years, pilot and photographer Alex MacLean has flown his Cessna 182 over much of the continental United States documenting the landscape. Trained as an architect, he reads the landscape from the air, documenting and deciphering the clues that are hidden in city grids, suburban developments, and in agricultural tracts.
